Port of Long Beach Posts Record September, Handles Nearly 1 Million TEUs as Imports Surge
The Port of Long Beach handled 997,177 TEUs in September, the busiest month in its 115-year history, as import volumes jumped 31.3 percent on cost-saving diversions from the Panama and Suez canals.
